About the KPI Dictionary 

The result of a 7 years research program run by The KPI Institute, this KPI Dictionary complements the already published KPI Compendium, which lists over 20,000 KPI examples. The novelty of The Institute's publication is based on the inclusion of more details for each KPI example and the separation of the content in two volumes: volume 1 for examples grouped by Functional Area and volume 2 for KPI examples grouped by Industry. All volumes contain a unique KPI identification number that traces the example to its file on www.smartKPIs.com, a KPI examples database operated by The KPI Institute. 

Structure of The KPI Dictionary Volume II: Industries 

The work enlists the names and calculation formulas for more than 4,800 KPIs, which have been documented over the past years, being a useful tool in the process of understanding, selecting and working with KPIs. 

Professionals, practitioners, consultants, researchers, managers and academicians can have in their own library a rich database with the most important elements of key performance indicators: definitions and formulas. They don’t have to look anymore for them through dozens of publications, as The KPI Dictionary brings the most relevant information in these unique book.
