Account generation

How do I register to The KPI Institute?

Any individual can join us by clicking on the "Login / Register" link at the top of the page and become a free Community Member. Upon creating this type of membership, a free Preview subscription to smartKPIs.kpiinstitute.org is also activated.

What are the benefits The KPI Institute can offer me by registering?

General Account Information

How do I access my account information?
  • Log in to your account;
  • Access My Account;
  • Access the Account Dashboard, that will bring you to your account information.
I can't remember my password!

If you cannot remember your password upon attempting to log into your account, you can retrieve your password by clicking the Forgot Your Password link, below the credentials input area.

Alternatively, you can always reach out to TKI Customer Service and we will be happy to update your password for you. You can send us an email to office@kpiinstitute.org

How can I change my password?

If you want to change your password, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Access your Account Dashboard, that will bring you to your Contact Information;
  • Mark Change Password to set a New Password;
  • Click Save to save your changes.
How can I update my name, phone number and other personal information?

Follow the next steps:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Access My Account;
  • Access Account Information and Edit your account information;
  • Click “Save” to save your changes.
How can I update my email address?

Follow the next steps:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Enter your e-mail address and password;
  • Access My Account;
  • From Address Book you can edit your Billing Address and Shipping Address;
  • Click “Save” to save your changes.
How can I manage my email newsletter preferences?

Follow the next steps:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Enter your e-mail address and password;
  • Access My Account;
  • From Newsletter Subscription, mark General Subscription;
  • Click “Save” to save your changes.

What does a Subscription to our online platforms mean?

By choosing one of our Subscriptions, you will benefit from different levels of access on our Practice Domain websites. Currently, smartKPIs is the first such platform available, while 11 other similar websites, on domains ranging from Strategy and Employee Performance to Innovation and Personal Performance are to be launched by the end of 2016.

What does smartKPIs offer you?

KPI Database - a wide range of KPIs that are of interest at organizational, global and personal level. It offers high quality Key Performance Indicator (KPI) examples covering a large spectrum of contexts in which KPIs can be used by professionals.

Moreover, a Subscription will offer you different benefits consisting in access to Top KPI Reports series.

How do I get a Subscription?

First, please register.

If you are already registered, then Log in, using your credentials.

Access all our Subscription plans and compare them, by using the Membership comparison tab.

Choose your preferred plan and click “Add to Cart”

Go to “View cart & checkout” and proceed to the payment information, then make sure that your billing information is correct, choose your payment options from Payment information and “Place Order”.

What does a TKI Membership mean?

By choosing a TKI Membership, you will benefit from all of The KPI Institute's research resources, analyst support and Premium access to our online platform smartKPIs.com, along with event discount and customized secondary research.

How do I get a Membership?

First, please register.

“What is the difference between a TKI Membership and a Subscription?”

For smartKPIs.com, as a practice domain website, you can choose one of the above detailed Subscription plans.

However, if you want to get access to more resources offered by The KPI Institute, you should opt for a Membership.

By becoming a member of The KPI Institute you will benefit from a Premium subscription to smartKPIs, as well as published content, event discounts, analyst insights and customized research.

They will definitely be cost-effective for your long-term projects.

Are there any extra fees when purchasing a Membership or a Subscription?

No extra fees are applicable.

You just pay once for the chosen pricing plan (either Subscription or Membership) and you can manually renew your plan at the end of its availability period.

We don’t renew your plan automatically upon expiration. We will send you a reminder eight and three weeks before your membership expires.

What are the usage rights I have after choosing a plan?

All the plans ensure that the content can be used for personal purposes only.

What are my payment options?

We accept online payments with all major credit cards, through two leading online payment processing providers: PayPal and 2Checkout.com.

Payment can also be done via invoice, through a bank transfer.

Can I purchase access for all the employees from my organization?

Yes, a corporate account can be configured to provide access to our online platforms for all staff members in your organization. Contact us at office@kpiinstitute.org to establish all details.

Can I upgrade my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade your plan in two different manners:

1. By purchasing a superior subscription or membership type, directly from our Marketplace, as explained above;

2. By contacting us directly via email: office@kpiinstitute.org and receiving guidance from our Customer Service team in maximum 24h you place your request.

How long does it take to obtain access according to the new plan?

Access is available immediately, once the payment is received and confirmed.

How can I access my publications, once I am a subscriber or member?

All subscriptions and membership plans include access to several publications, granted by The KPI Institute. You can access the publications included in your plan by accessing our Research Library.

Once logged into this platform with the same credentials used for Marketplace, you can search the resources you’re interested in and download them directly.

If, at a certain point, you want to access the list of your downloaded products, or even download them again, you can do so by selecting My products from your menu (top right, next to your name). You can do that both from our Library's homepage and from every product page.

Orders and downloadable products

Where can I see all my orders?

If you want to see all previous orders, follow these steps:

  • Log in to your account;
  • Enter your e-mail address and password;
  • Access “My Account”;
  • Click “My Downloadable Products” and see all your orders.
When are my purchased resources available for download?

You can download the products purchased from our Marketplace as soon as your payment is proceeded.

Please check your payment email confirmation and wait a few minutes until the payment process will be approved by the payment processing providers.
