Performance Measurement Maturity Model

The Performance Measurement Maturity Model is a valuable tool used to gathered information about the current state of the performance measurement capability within the entity (organization, division, department or team). The survey assesses the usage of KPIs, their alignment to strategy, the KPI documentation process, the ability to establish effective targets and to collecting results, how data is displayed and performance measurement governed . The statements used are meant to assess each building block of the Performance Measurement Framework:

Each statement must be rated on a scale from 1 to 5 depending on its relevancy to actual practice, and based on the rating provided, the entity can fall into one of the following maturity levels:

1 - Initial

2 - Emergent

3 - Structured

4 - Integrated

5 - Optimized
