About the report
The Government Services Index (GSI) is a composite set of indicators that aims to capture the performance of governments in key areas of public service, which drive resilience and high adaptability to change.
The index was developed based on a thorough analysis of pertinent academic and practitioner literature on crucial success determinants for public services, which was then connected with metrics previously provided at the worldwide level by international organizations.
The index contains 5 dimensions or areas of interest that were chosen considering key value drivers for high-performing public services: Adaptability, Talent, Digitization, Impact, and Governance.
